Interactive performance and uv light installation
An investigation on loneliness
An investigation on loneliness

An artist collaboration with SanktMarie.
Performed at Way out West music festival in Gothenburg, Sweden that is an all vegetarian festival. They also have a big climate focus and this year was operation: save the bees.
The theme for the performance was inspired by that theme.
The uv light installation is created to be the habitat/environment meant for the bees in a dystopic flower garden-spirit.

The bee costumes were worn during the performance in which the bees would interact with people in the festival area.
The approach on the bees were in a depressed state of mind.
Depicting solitaire bees as opposed to bees living in colonies. Since it is getting harder for bees to find food the connection was made that they are getting lonelier, just like humans.
Conversations with festival visitors were on the topic of loneliness and they were asked when they felt most and least lonely.
It took place during the three days of the festival.

Artist collaboration with SanktMarie
The performance was shown five times during the exhibition Because of something Collective, a group show. It consists of Wooden sculptures/scenography, music instrument, sound, projection and live performance (singing, poetry reading and movements). It was an artistic collaboration on the theme relationships, working with emotions as a material. The dynamics of the performance was built up like the emotions between two people getting to know each other, encountering ups and downs. Some of the looped recordings translated: -We sniff and greet each other like dogs -You would not stop kissing me -Are we a bit bored? I feel ill-tempered -I'm ugly when I smile -I love you -I'll be abandoned soon - I have to get below the surface to endure - Shark, the shark is coming -Because you didn't stay in touch - My shame -I scratch your back and tell you that I'm scared of death. |
